Master Isadora Tures
Master Isadora is the Spiritual Director of the Order of the Mystical Christ and the Sophia Wisdom Centers. She has been a spiritual leader for 18 years and has been training other spiritual leaders for over a decade. A talented speaker, healer and teacher, she has a special gift for transmitting deep and complex spiritual wisdom in simple and powerful ways – making deep esoteric topics accessible to all.
“I feel truly honored that over the years so many people have let me into their hearts and spiritual processes. One of my favorite things about teaching is finding ways to make deep and complex spiritual teachings accessible and easy to understand. But my deepest joy is seeing my students opening, healing, and expressing their true soul-nature.”
Reverend Constance Wilson
I am inspired by the rich intersection of teachings and experiences happening at the Sophia Wisdom Center each day. There are wisdom teachings from various spiritual traditions, contemplative practices that deepen us into being more fully present and ourselves, community that makes an intentional spiritual life more doable, sacraments that inspire us beyond concepts and an ever-expanding lived awareness of our interconnectedness. My previous life experiences moved me to search for something that was not Christian, so I was surprised and relieved to find such depth and authenticity in a mystical Christian way that is inclusive of all Truth. Really, I was looking for something non-dogmatic, spiritual, creative, deep, warm, and experiential and I believed these values were not aligned with a Christian path. Yet, each thing I’ve learned and come to value, whether it’s nonviolent communication or esteeming others or mindfulness or energy healing, fits into this way of being and this brings me hope.
I’m grateful to be connected to a thriving community of people, near and far, desiring to grow and deepen together. Each person’s unfolding process is consistently and miraculously a support to all the others. After years on a spiritual path, I continue to be regularly amazed that, over and over again, the answer to the question, the peace to the conflict, the harmony to the discord is inside. The freshness of this living reality never gets old. I’m grateful to have been guided by various teachers into meaningful experiences of meditation, prayer, devotion and connection with God. It is now a joy to stand by others as these powerful and gentle inner truths unfold from within them.
When I’m not serving or teaching at the Center, I work as a Nurse Practitioner and I love spending time with my husband, two young children, chickens, dogs and garden.

I am grateful that my life has brought me to serve as a Christian mystical priest in this life time. I feel blessed that I can help people bring Christ consciousness into their life and help them live at their full potential. All through my life, I have been drawn to spirituality. I am particularly interested in finding similarities and connections between the mystical teachings of the West and the East.
First as a midwife in France and now as an Infant Specialist for the City of Cambridge, one of my great joys is to help parents develop deep and healthy bonds with their children. I also enjoy traveling with my husband and son, meeting new people, and discovering different cultures

I am a priest here in New Haven, CT. I have the opportunity direct the Order of the Mystical Christ Lay Ministry across the country. I am part of the teachers who teach online, and our Center is dynamic and growing. I feel so blessed to be able to serve as a priest in this holy order. I am moved, so often by God’s grace and healing that allows those whom I serve to heal and grow and help. We teach a spiritual path of total transformation in which we have connection to the divinity within our selves, and with Jesus and Mary.
One of the opportunities I have is to be the Director of the Lay Ministry. It is made of heart filled servants of Jesus and Mary. They devote their time, love and compassion to serving others in corporal acts of mercy. Every week they give at their Centers if they are blessed to be near one, and they hold the Light of Christ for others to see and to grow from. I see the Lay Ministry to be a growing and dynamic soul family that really helps those in need.
It is awesome to see those I love and teach grow and change and come into relationship with God. I love watching the process of people coming into service and wanting to be part of the positive influence for others. It is so great to see people literally taking on light and having life move through those parts that were closed, hurt and shut down.
I get to live at the Center here in New Haven where we do classes and Communion, and I am part of the real transformation of those in our community by sharing what God gives me, and sharing the process I have gone through in healing and growing.
I am looking forward to the growth of our Center and the Order of the Mystical Christ and the service of the Lay Ministry. I see how people are stepping up to be of help, to actively give love and light here on earth. Jesus said, “the kingdom of God is within you,” and I have found it to unfold in myself and those around me.
